I'm sitting in a conference session with Tony Bollino and our own Lynda Baker presenting. They're talking about safe blogging and I have to admit that I'm learning my way around this blog framework from them. Sometimes it is so much easier learning from others than to figure it out yourself.

Something new for something old

It has always bothered me that our users need to enter a login sequence and a password to remotely login to our databases. Well, there's a really obvious, simple solution for at least one of them. For our Gale products, all that needs to be done is add the login sequence to the URL on your web page. So, using your school's initials, you would need to add fcps*** (with the asterisks being the initials) to the URL for your link! Then your students would only need to know your school's password.
